I was very excited to learn of the 52 week project. I’m a few weeks behind, but would love to catch up and post on a weekly basis. It’s amazing how quickly my baby girl is growing and think viewing a special picture each week will be a great way to capture this amazing time.
“A portrait of my baby girl, once a week, every week, in 2013.”
Week 8:
This week I was reminded through my weekly email from What to Expect that tummy time is important. I tried something a little different today and used our mombo pillow to prop up Baby Girl. I put it on this big chair in her room so that her and I could be face to face with her, thought she might like this better than on the floor. As soon as I had her up on the chair, our cocker, Lizi, jumped up next to Baby V. Somehow I managed to get this great shot. Lizi always poses when I get out the camera and she decided she should be in Baby V’s picture today. I LOVE it!
Week 7:
Happy Valentine’s Day from Baby V. We took a number of photo shoots over a couple of days with a few different “outfits”. I thought this one looked cute!
Week 6:
Fresh out of her bath, we wrapped Baby Girl up in this sweet little sleep sack that my great-aunt made. It actually belongs to my nephew, Baby V’s godfather. It’s on loan.
Week 5:
Baby Girl sitting with mommy like a big girl already!
Week 4:
Baby Girl in her Pack N Play bassinet. This cute outfit is from a dear friend that was back home in Omaha for a short visit; she now lives in Greece and hasn’t been back to the states in a year. It may be another year or more before we see her again.
Week 3:
January 18 is A.A. Milne’s birthday and Baby V celebrated by doing a photo shoot with her friends from the 100 acre woods. This is her Papi’s favorite.
Week 2:
Baby Girl’s first bath! Bath time was not her favorite thing.
Week 1:
Baby Girl laying on her changing pad, one of her favorite places.
